Tai Chi Chuan (Taijiquan) Classes

At this moment in time there are no beginners Taijiquan classes.

Students are expected to have attended at least one of the following prerequisite courses before embarking on any Taijiquan course

Choice 1

At least 1 Shaolin Wahnam Chi Kung Beginners Courses run by Sifu James

Choice 2

At Least 1 weekend Chi Kung regional course run by other Shaolin
Wahnam Instructors

Choice 3

At least one intensive Chi Kung course run by Grandmaster Wong in Malaysia

Beginners Course in Shaolin Wahnam Taijiquan​

Regular Classes Content Level 1 – The Fundamentals of Taijiquan

Form: Stances. Fundamental footwork and basic Taijiquan forms.

Application:
Taijiquan techniques to overcome simple combat situations.

Force:

Wuji Stance, Lifting Water, Three-Circle Stance, and Grasping Sparrow’s Tail, Leg Stretching

Philosophy:
Dimensions, aims and brief history..

Note:

* From Wuji to Taiji, and back to Wuji.
* Movement from the waist.
* Differentiating between yin and yang.
* One-pointed mind and energy flow.
* Basic Taijiquan patterns.
* Internal force training.

There is a minimum number requirement of Students before running a class.
